This course provides basic life saving skills to both clinical and non clinical members of your team, including the use of an AED in line with the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines 2015 for GP practices. It conforms to CQC requirements for Healthcare establishments.

This course is delivered on site at your surgery and many practices combine it with Fire Training so all mandatory training is completed in one afternoon.

This course is designed for your whole team, including receptionists, admin support, Doctors and Nurses and can be adapted to suit your needs.

Course content

• Managing an emergency situation
• Assessment of the Casualty
• Airway Management including bag, valve and mask use
• Cardiopulmonary resus including practice
• Correct use of an AED
• Recovery position if needed

Certification

Candidates will receive a Zone Safety Training certificate that is valid for a year. CQC recognised.
