This course is suitable for businesses that are deemed to be ‘lower risk’ in line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations.

First Aid at Work (RQF)Level Three

This course is suitable for businesses that are deemed to be ‘moderate to high risk’ in line with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations. Successful students will be able to be named ‘the first aider’ in your workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

Over a 5 day period, learners will gain the knowledge, skills and competencies needed to deal with a range of prehospital care emergencies, such as: managing a patient’s airways, catastrophic bleeding, management of fractures, medical emergencies and more.

CPR and Automated External Defibrillator For GP surgeries

This course can provide basic life saving skills to both clinical and non clinical members of your team, including the use of an AED in line with the Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines 2015 for GP practices. It can also include drug administration training to clinicians. It conforms to CQC requirements for Healthcare establishments.

Fire Risk AssessmentRRFSO

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (RRFSO) covers all premises except for a single private dwelling and came into effect in October 2006. The Order specifies that anyone who has control of premises or anyone who has a degree of control over certain areas or systems will be identified as the ‘responsible person’. The law requires that the responsible person carries out a Fire Risk Assessment.

Our instructor specialising in this area is a Senior Occupational Therapist with extensive history on supporting those with complex physical and learning disabilities in a variety of settings.
